Home Buyer Assistance Programs
It's not easy to get your hands on these grants but it can sure be worth it. There are home buyer programs that help with Down Payment money, Closing Costs, Repairs, etc in the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, Dekalb County, and across the state of Georgia. Here are just a few I've dealt with.
A few myths to dispel:
- Not all programs are for first time homebuyers
- Most will have income and asset restrictions
- Not all of these properties are in economically depressed areas
- Every program is different but a lot have common aspects.
